Imparting Quality Education and Propagating the Doctrine of Knowledge is what the Amity International Business School (AIBS) has always stood tall for. The Amity International Business School, organized a case study competition by the name of “Conaissance – 2005: A Knowledge Sharing Convention”.
The event was a knowledge-sharing platform, which was organized with a view to share the quality research done by the faculty and management students. The ceremony was flagged off, on a devotional note with the choir singing Saraswati Vandana and lighting of the lamp of knowledge, to seek blessings from the goddess of Wisdom and Knowledge. Dr. Gurinder Singh, Pro Vice Chancellor Amity University, UP, Head & Dy. Director General, Amity International Business School, in his address to the students boosted their morale and explained the importance of adopting a research based teaching methodology for imparting practical knowledge to the budding managers.
The workshop as it has been deftly named as “A Knowledge Sharing Convention” was truly an enlightening and stimulating experience as management students from the various domains of management ranging from marketing, finance, economics, and human resource etc. put their best foot forward in presenting the cases on which they had done an in depth research. This exercise gave the managers in the making a first hand experience of applying their practical intelligence and problem solving skills to the best possible use. Some of the case studies presented were on the topics of Strategic Branding in Global Markets, Consumerization Vs Customization, Cult branding in India, FDI in Retail Sector to name a few.
The entire proceedings of the informative sessions were recorded real time at Amity International Business School, Noida, which will serve as a footprint for the budding managers and will obviate several worthy citations for them ever after.
