High power delegation from Poland visits Amity University to explore cooperation in the educational areas

A delegation comprising of high level officials from Poland visited Amity University, Uttar Pradesh, Sector-125, Noida campus. The purpose of the visit was to promote institutional goals, to establish ties of friendship and cooperation for promoting mutual understanding and to promote cooperation in the educational areas.

The delegation led by H.E. Leszek Wojtasiak, Vice Marshal (Deputy Chief Minister) Wielkoposka Province, Prof Grzegorz Skrzypczak, Rector of the Poznan University of Life Sciences, Prof Jan Pikul, Vice Rector for Science and International Relations, Poznan University of Life Sciences, Prof (Ms)Aleksandra Rakowsha, Vice Rector for Science, Poznan University of Life Sciences, Ms. Barbara Lozinska, Director Wielkopolska Ptovince Marshal’s office, Antoni Miklaszewski, Counsellar, Embassy of Poland, H.E. Prof Piotr Klodkowski, Ambassador of Poland delibered on the potential areas of establishing a strong bond between the universities of both the countries and conduct International Conferences, seminars and symposia, discussions were also held to Organize workshops in various fields like Business and Management, Science and Technology, Arts and Culture, Joint Research activities, Exchange of Research Scientists and Scholars, Supervision and Guidance on dissertations and theses, Exchange of students, Joint Projects, Joint Publications, Identify funding agencies to fund joint research projects, Explorations for innovations in International Education, Research and Consulting, Developing Joint Programs and Management Development Programs. The delegation also interacted with students of Amity Business School to explore their interest in Poznan.

Prof Jan Pikul, Vice Rector for Science and International Relations called upon identifying the right areas of operation with respective universities and utilize the assets to the maximum. To strengthen our bond he laid stress on good human cooperation, capabilities and mutual understandings which will work for a better future.

Delegation met Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President, Amity University, Mr. Atul Chauhan, Chancellor, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Mr. Aseem Chauhan, Chancellor, Amity University Rajasthan.

During the day the delegation met hon’ble Vice Chancellor Major General K.J. Singh, Amity University, Uttar Pradesh, Dr. Balwinder Shukla, Pro Vice Chancellor (Academics), Amity University, Uttar Pradesh, Dr. Gurinder Singh, Pro Vice Chancellor (International), Amity University, Uttar Pradesh, along with the senior officials to discuss the areas of exchange programs in education.

The Poland delegation appreciated Indian culture. They have taken into consideration some reputed educational organizations of India and some other countries including Amity University for exchange of ideas and for better cultural and political relationship with both the countries.
