The MBA(IB) students of 2010-12 batch witnessed an exciting and meaningful session with Mr. Vivek Malhotra Marketing, Head Idea Cellular on 11th Aug 2010 at 1700 Hrs.
The topic of discussion was “Telecom in
Marketing”. The session proceeded by viewing the various advertisements of Idea cellular and understanding the marketing strategies behind each. The various strategies discussed were:-
1 Outpacing the needs of customers
2 Brand as perceived by masses.
3 Consumer Engagement
4 Cutting through Marketing Clutter
5 Inclusive Marketing
6 Customer Relationship Management
The various advertisements used to exemplify the above mentioned strategies were ‘WALK N TALK’ , ‘WHAT AN IDEA SIRJI’, ‘MTV ROADIES’, ‘KBC’, ‘UNGLI CRICKET’ and many more.
The session ended with a vote of thanks to the guest.
