Amity University Rajasthan (AUR) provided Vatsalya (an orphanage situated at Achrol, near Jaipur) a platform to celebrate its Prize distribution ceremony and fete on Monday. Rajasthan Royals Team’s CMO Mr. Raghu Iyer, Head of Operations Mr. Santanu Chari and Manager- Public Affiars Mr. Rajeev Khanna were the guest of honour for the event. Amity University Rajasthan is the official academic partner of Rajasthan Royal’s team.
More than 60 students and entire staff of Vatsalya with their guests participated in the celebration. To promote the social cause carried on by Vatsalya, Amity University donated books worth Rs. 25,000 with racks and photo albums to all the students of Vatsalya. Rajasthan Royals also donated a certain amount to Vatsalya.
Ms. Jaimala, coordinator of Vatsalya also gave presentation about the work done by their organization.
A cultural evening was organized by Vatsalya’s students in which several dances and songs were performed, followed by a fete at Amity’s Students Lounge. Handicrafts and snacks stalls were displayed in the fete where students of Amity University and Vatsalya enjoyed together.
