As a Strategic Partner of Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA), Amity University is actively participating in India Cold Chain Expo (ICE) 2010 being held at Hotel Ashoka from November 12-13, 2010.
India Cold Chain Expo (ICE) 2010 offers a global opportunity to present product and service information to the largest concentration of public refrigerated warehouses, refrigerated logistics, refrigerated construction and refrigerated transportation. The tradeshow provides a platform to implement best practices for better efficiency, learnt from industry leaders. India Cold Chain Expo 2010 is being organized by Global Cold Chain Alliance.
In the Expo, Amity University has set up two stalls-Amity International Centre for Post Harvest Technology and Cold Chain Management and Amity Institute of Horticulture Research and Studies.
Amity University, in the past has collaborated with GCCA, World Food Logistics Organization, University of California Davis. Amity hosted GCCA Cold Storage Training Programme in 2009 in collaboration with National Horticulture Board (NHB) and US Department of Agriculture.
Amity University initiative in the areas of Post Harvest Technology and Cold Chain Management, have been lauded by various organizations viz National Horticulture Board (NHB), National Horticulture Mission (NHM) and Ministry of Food Processing Industries and GCCA.
Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA) and National Horticulture Board (NHB) have planned several projects in which Amity University will be associated as a partner.
