International Conference on Enhancing Growth through Innovation and Creativity: Issues, Opportunities and Challenges had been organised with a view to provide a common platform to academia and corporate to share their views and express ideas that how inovation and creativity stimulate growth and enable an organsiation to achieve competitive advantage on the global market place. More than 150 research papers have been contributed by the academicians on different functional areas of management from various institutions acorss the world. Apart from NCR, contributions have been received from Chandigarh, Patiala, Solan, J & K, Asam, Lucknow, Bariely, Agra, Ahemdabad, Mumbai, Gwalior, Kolkata, Pune, Bangalore, Jaipur etc. There were contirbutions also from the foreign countries like Phillipines, United States, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Iran etc. Out of 150 papers received, 76 papers have been accepted for the publication. 36 Nos of full papers have been published in an Edited Book published by Excel Publisher and 40 Abstracts were published in Abstract Compendium & Souvenir. Inaugural session of the conferenc was begun with a formal welcome address by Dr Padmakali Banerjee, Director Amity Business School & Dean Academics Amity University Haryana (AUH), address by R C Sharma, Vice Chancellor AUH, and words of wisdom by Mr Aseem Chauhan, Additional President – RBEF. Key note address was delivered by Dr Arun K Jain, Professor from IIM – Lucknow. Mr Deepak Pahwa, Group Chairman Pahwa Enterprise & MD Bry-air (Asia) Pvt Ltd was the Chief Guest of the session. Mr V P Sajeevan, Director, Consumer Division System Product, Canon India Pvt Ltd, Maj Gen Parthsarathi Paul, VSM (IG), Training Centre, NSG, Mr Niraj Prakash, Director, Public Sector Marketing, Microsoft were the guests of honour in the session. The session was closed with a vote of thanks by Dr Vikas Madhukar, Dy Director, Amity Busniess School and Director – Events, Amity Univeristy Haryana. The session was attended by large number of participants both from academica and industry. 46 papers which were presented in the conference were divided into 7 technical sessions under various following heads: Contemporary Human Resource Management Practices, Finance banking & insurance in integrated global environment, Technology & Business, Marketing Globally & Global Challenges in Operations Management. Valedictory Session of conference was held on May 6, 2011. The session was started with a formal welcome by Dr Padmakali Banerjee, Director Amity Business School & Dean Academics Amity University Haryana (AUH) and address by R C Sharma, Vice Chancellor AUH. Dr Vikas Madhukar, Dy Director ABS & Director-Events, Amity University Haryana presented a detail report about the conference. Sh Sukhbir Kataria, Hon’ble Minster of State for Agriculture & Cooperative was the Chief Guest and Mr Hari Nair, Group Head (HR) & Vice President, J B Maruti Ltd, Mr Raj Nehru, Head HR, IBM Technologies and Mr Yashpal Arora – Executive Director, SS Kothari Mehta Corporate Advisory were the Guests of Honour. The session was closed with a vote of thanks.
