Amity Institute of Education, New Delhi, an Institution of the Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (RBEF) in collaboration with the University of Malta organised a teacher training workshop on “Teaching in 21st century can be fun” on at Amity Institute of Education, Saket, New Delhi. The training was organized under “Teacher Training Project” of the University of Malta.
The resource person for this workshop was Mr. Mario Gielen, an educator and expert of Communications and Information Technology from Malta. He enlightened the participants on how to use IT for making classroom teaching more effective.
Amity Institute of Education, New Delhi under the visionary guidance of Dr. Ashok K Chauhan, Founder President, RBEF has been taking the lead in inviting speakers from reputed national and international organisation for the several trainings and workshops for the development of their teachers and trainees in various facets of teaching This workshop was one such endeavour initiated by Dr. Ranjana Bhatia, Prof. & Principal, Amity Institute of Education, New Delhi for providing training to the teachers in the use of innovative technological tools like the Presentation tools Virtual learning environment, Communication tools, Visualisation tools and Interactivity tools.
The event was fully supported and facilitated by the High Commission of Malta in India which since its inception has been taking energetic and innovative steps to develop linkages and academic associations with Indian educationists, academicians and institutions of learning through the Indian office of University of Malta headed by Ms. Megha Srivastav.
The participants of thie workshop were from Amity Institute of Education, New Delhi and all Amity International Schools located in Delhi/ NCR.
