Amity Business School, AUR organised a visit for its stuents to International Horticulture Inovation & Training Centre, Jaipur to attend an awareness program on Good Agricultural Practices for Stakeholders

In this programme all the students of MBA Agri Business III Semester (09) and the Programme Coordinator Dr. RH Dahiya participated representing Amity University Rajasthan. This awareness Prog was sponsored by QCI (Quality Control of India), New Delhi. USAID, & Michigan State University, USA, in collaboration with APEDA & IHITC, Jaipur. The opening Remark was delivered by Dr. SL Mehta, Ex Director ICAR / Ex VC, Udaipur University. Dr. Mehra, Director & VC NIAM (National Institute of Agri Marketing) Jaipur & the Director of IHITC Dr (Mrs) Sangita Ladha. The Technical Sessions were delivered by Mr. Anand Zamber, Deputy Director IHITC, Dr. Pitam Chandra, Dr. Hari Prakash, Joint Advisor QCI, and Mr. Rafique Vohra, Consultant grape growers Association, Nasik, Maharashtra. About 100 people from all over Rajasthan participated in the workshop including, students of NIAM, Scientists from JOBNER, Bikaner, Udaipur, Universities. Directorate of Horticulture Durgapura, and Farmers of Rajasthan (Total 100 participants). Amity Students had an interactive session with Director IHITC, Scientists and guest speakers and they also took part in Question – Answer Session. The feedback of Amity students was Excellent. The Director had invited students to pay a visit to their campus soon. It was very detailed & informative workshop and students have gained good knowledge of GAP. Students also presented a Report on workshop in the class.
