Amity Global Business School, Chandigarh organized Corporate Meet on Preparing Leaders for Tomorrow Industry Academia Partnership for a Hyper Competitive Future
In order to give an opportunity to the students to interact with the top shot leaders of the corporate world, Amity Chandigarh organized its corporate meet , on December 4, at CII, Chandigarh.The aim of the meet was to provide a platform to management thinkers and practitioners to make a synergistic relationship with Amity, in preparing future leaders of the nation.
Prof(Dr)Shivali Dhingra,Dean,Amity Global Business School, delivered the welcome address on the occasion and stressed on the ardent need for collaborations between academia and industry for mutual benefit. She further added that for the holistic development of the future leaders mentoring, and exchange of knowledge with the Industry is imperative. At Amity, we believe that education and industry must have a reciprocal relationship in order to gain the most from each other. Delivering the Inaugural address, Mr V.K. Singh,I.A.S,Finance Secretary,U.T,Chandigarh, said that the theme for this year ,” Preparing Leaders for Tomorrow- Industry Academia Partnership for a Hyper-Competitive Future”is very apt in the hyper competitive environment. He applauded the efforts of Amity Chandigarh in bridging the gap between academia and industry and partnering together to work closely to prepare Generation Next Leaders. He motivated and encouraged the students to imbibe and inculcate values and never sacrifice character as they begin their corporate journey.

In the post lunch session , distinguished panelists across various industries deliberated upon the theme to give insight into the role of leaders and how future leaders can equip themselves for their better future. The panel has speakers of high eminence like Mr. Tanit Oberoi (Manager Corporate Sales, Tata Motors), Mr. Ajay Sandhir (Group Project Manager, HCL AXON), Mr. Abhay Kumar Srivastava (VP, Plant Operations, USV Pharma), Mr. Gyaninder Dhillon (OD, Vertical Head, Idea Cellular), Mr. Hemant Bhalla (Regional Marketing Manager, Whirlpool), Mr. Pankaj Rana (AVP, Operations, Netsmartz), Mr. Alok Ramsisaria (CEO, Gazetti Interactive) and Mr. H.S. Cheema (Director, Cheema Boilers). The discussion was moderated by Mr. Mohit Pawar, CEO New Media Consulting Group .The meet was attended by many prominent personalities of the Tri city.
