AITTM organized a Guest Lecture on ‘ Business Opportunities and Challenges in B2B Environment ‘ by Mr. Harpreet Singh Syali – Head , Enterprise Business Like , MTS India ( Systema Shaym Teleservices India Ltd. ).
Mr. Syali has a rich industry experience of more than 22 years and has held prestigious positions in Telecom organizations like Bharti Airtel , Vodafone , Bousch & Lomb etc.
Mr. Syali began his lecture with a brief on B2B Business in Telecom: Opportunities and Challenges. Market for B2B is presently at a staggering Rs.36,000 crores and is poised to become Rs. 60,000 crores market in the next 3 years. He explained the key enterprise expectations from the service providers which are One-stop shop capability which offer value for money and online service solutions round the clock.
He explained emerging areas viz cloud Computing, Enterprise Mobility and Machine to Machine connect in enterprises services in which enterprises are investing in a big way. With the growth of Data Centric Applications, Data Centers are becoming nucleus of all available information.
He also explained segmentation of enterprises business by service providers before allocating Key account Managers. He emphasized on the importance of Hunting and Farming concept, People to people connect and human relationship in enterprise business. Beside people Management skills are extremely important for B2B.
He concluded his session by explaining about the 5P concept – Product Portfolio, Place, Pricing, Promotions and People. Success lies in managing and optimizing all the above.
