Mobile Adhoc Networks Technologies
Amity School of Engineering and Technology of Amity University Madhya Pradesh Located at Gwalior conducted a seminar on “Mobile Adhoc Networks Technologies” on 26 April 2013. The seminar started with traditional lighting of lamp and Saraswati Vandana. Inaugurating the seminar, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Lt. Gen. V. K. Sharma delivered his opening remarks on the theme by focusing on various perspectives of mobile adhoc networks and technologies. He presented numerous examples on the applications of MANETs. Prof. (Dr.) G. S. Tomar, Director of Machines Intelligence Research Labs, Gwalior delivered the keynote address to the participants of the seminar.He presented on the topic of Challenges in Wireless Adhoc Network for future researchers in the focus area.
The students of first year B.Tech. (ECE) of Amity University Madhya Pradesh delivered a number of well- researched presentations on the focus area with sub-themes in Introduction to MANET, Scope of MANET’S, Security Related Issues, Trends in MANET, Future research Trends in MANET. Shantanu Sharma, Shivam Sharma, Shaivi Dubey, Shalini Verma, Aditya Kumar presented a paper on Introduction to MANET. Pankaj Kumar, Dhananjay Singh, Sarwansh Malviya R. Ganga Raju and Rahul Jat presented a paper on scope of MANETs. Devshree Sahasrabudhe, Ranbir Kaur, Nidhi Baishander, Anshul Chauhan and Vinay Singh presented a paper on Security Related Issues, Challenges in MANET andits Solutions. Pragyan B. Das, Abhishek Singh, Anand Kumar, Atul Upadhyayand Malisetty Rajesh presented a paper on Recent Research Trends in MANET. Sudeep Giri, Anjan Kumar Dey, Aman Gupta Deepak Rawat and Durgesh Verma presented a paper on Future Research Trends in MANET. The student presentations were formalized under the active guidance of Mr. Vivek Singh Kushwah, Ms. Shally Goyal and Mr. Pawan Kumar Bansal of Electronics and Communication Engineering Department. The programme was hosted by Ms. Ajeeta Bhadoria and Mr.Rajat Sharma (1st Year B.Tech. in ECE).
Participation certificates were distributed to all the speakers and outside participants of the seminar by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, AU MP and the Keynote Speaker. A number of professionals,researchers and educationists from Gwalior also volunteered to participate in the seminar. The Dean (Academics), Registrar, Director (Administration), Heads of Schools, faculty members, staff members and students were present on the occasion. A vote of thanks was proposed by the convener of the programme. The programme was conducted by Dr. Bikram K. Bahinipati, Deputy Director and Head of Amity School of Engineering and Technology, Amity University Madhya Pradesh.The event was highlighted by overwhelming participation by students and faculties of Amity University and other institutes in Gwalior, which was organized in the packed-house auditorium of the university. The seminar ended with a standing ovation to the guest speakers, student presenters and the organizers.
