Continental Cuisine & Bakery Workshop (14 Aug 13)

 

1.        Amity School of Hospitality (ASH )organized a workshop on Continental Cuisine showcasing the

 modern style of food presentation. The Workshop comprised preparing and presenting of three

course Italian menu  to include Tomato Bruschetta,  Minestroni Casalinga and Fish Rollatini.

 

2.         Objective & Outcomes: The main objective of the workshop was to make the students aware of the presentation styles and work procedures followed by the hotels and as well as to introduce to the students with some of the best -selling ‘a la cart’ dishes of Italian Cuisine. Chef Kapil conducted the workshop on Italian cuisine, which is one of the leading cuisines of Continental Regions.

 

3.         The response from the students was very good and the students expressed their interests in the Food Production department and took initiative to make the workshop a success. The students helped the Chef in ‘Misc en place’ for the preparation and Chef Kapil also complimented some of the students for their knowledge and passion.
