On the eve of Children’s Day 2014, the students of AmityUniversity Rajasthan (AUR), Jaipur organized events for under privileged peopleof society. During morning hours, more than 50 students of AUR went to DishaFoundation, A centre for multiple disabilities, Nirman Nagar, Jaipur, inleadership of Mr. Nitin Pokharna (B. Tech. Civil VII) and Mr. Joji Thomas (B.Tech. Civil VII). They organized dancing, singing and other entertainmentactivities for mentally and physically challenged people. This group of studentscould bring a smile of joy on the face of these special people of the society.They also shared chocolates with the special children.
During evening, this group of students visited areas nearby to SMSHospital, Ramnivas Bagh, Chandi ki Taksal and Transport Nagar to distributeclothes to the people in need. After getting clothes, the old and disabledstreet beggars blessed the students. This activity was one of the results ofmotivation and support of the Office of Dean Student Welfare, AUR, Jaipur.
These activities will lead to develop a sense of humanity in the youngsters.They will be getting a real pleasure by doing such acts of selfless service tothe society.
