The Concluding Ceremony of AGBS Bhubaneswar campus was held on 09 May 2016, for MBA(Gen.) MBA (RuM ) Batch 2014-16 and BBA Batch of 2013-16 in the presence of the Chief Guest of the function Dr. Chakradhar Satpathy, Director, Amity Humanity Foundation; Dean of the Campus, Dr. Ranjan Kantha,faculty, staff members and students. The programme started at around 5.00 pm in the evening. The outgoing batches of students were welcomed with a Rose bud and Tilak.
Welcome address was delivered by Prof. Siddharth Nanda. He welcomed the students and the guest to the event. After this our revered guest, Dr. Sathapathy gave an inspiring speech to the students and blessed the students.
Dr. Ranjan Kantha, Dean commenced his address by seeking the kind blessings from our Respected Founder President, Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan Sir, Honorable President, Dr. Atul Chauhan Sir and our Beloved Shri U. Ramachandran Sir, Senior Vice President & Head AGBS National Campuses. He also conveyed the blessings and good wishes of Mr. Vipin Sharma, AVP and Dr. Ankita Chakravorty Bhattacharya, HOI. In his speech Dr. Kantha emphasized on the importance of caring for elderly parents, hard work, balancing family & professional life and carrying forward the ethics and values of Amity in life. Dr. Kantha applauded the students and faculty members in his speech and also blessed the students for a bright future.
All the passing out students of MBA (Gen.) 2014-16, MBA (RuM) 2014-16 and BBA 2013-16 received their Certificates, Salvers and Citations in various categories for their exemplary contribution in different fields. Students were very happy and excited on receiving these awards and were thankful to their Alma Mater for recognizing and appreciating their efforts.
Prof Purnima Sarkar read out the message of our beloved President Dr. Atul Chauhan Sir and conveyed his blessings to the students. Prof Rachita Ota anchored the programme.
The Group photo sessions for the different batches were organized soon after the completion of the concluding ceremony followed by dinner for all staff and students. . The passing out batches enjoyed the delicious dinner and they were very happy with all the arrangements made and the way they were honoured and treated.
