A group of actors from Amity International School, Noida attended the XIth International Children's Theatre Festival from 14th to 19th November 2007 for the students of classes 6th to 12th at the LTG Auditorium. The event was sponsored by IATA (International Amateur Theatre Association) and NIPA (National Institution of Performing Arts) to promote a creative and cultural exchange of ideas in the form of children's theatre. Students from Brazil , Pakistan , Nepal , Bangla Desh and various Russian countries performed various skits, one act plays, musicals that aimed at promoting various values of human understanding.
Amtiy International School, Noida put up Prem Chand's famous play titled, "Boodhi Kaki" driving home the singular message that old persons should never be neglected as growing old was an irrevocable process which even youngster would inevitably face one day. The Amitians hugely benefited from this international exposure. They also felt that it was a great honour to have performed at the prestigious event.
