Dr. Ravindra Singh, Associate Professor, IOWA State University, USA delivered lecture on the topic "Correction of a defective gene in a human disease" under the auspices of Amity Science, Technology & Innovation Foundation. Prof. Dr. Sunil Saran, Vice Chairman (National), Amity Science, Technology & Innovation Foundation welcomed Dr. Ravindra Singh.

In his address, Dr. Ravindra Singh said that the human body is made up of genes. Every thing in the body is controlled by genes. Right from the foetus stage these genes are crucial in developing the organs. All the diseases from which the human body suffers is due to defective genes. If we target the defective genes itself than we can cure all the life threatning and might be birth disorders.
