Addressing the students and sharing a rather queer but interesting formula of success, he said that success comes through “ H2O”- two molecules of H2 are hard work and honesty and “O” stands for being organized. He encouraged the students not to lose their heart and be optimistic especially when world economy is grappling with recession and lot of panic has been made. He sensitized the students about the plight of 625 million people residing in rural India, which needs immediate attention. On the serious note sharing his concern about the increasing population of India, Mr. Choubey said that India has one of the largest populations of the world but unfortunately, the resources are not sufficient to meet the ever growing demands of the increasing population. The synergic efforts have to be directed towards commensuration of resources with the increasing demand, to bring Indian economy on the track.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ashok K Chauhan- Founder President, Amity Universe motivated the students to never give up in their lives, no matter how tough the situation may be. “Recession has, though, been giving us a hard time but determination and keen urge to forge ahead, will enable you to master anything and everything on this earth”, averred Dr. Chauhan. He extended his gratitude to the doyens of the industry, who added to the fervor of “INBUSH 2009” by their benign presence.

Sharing his views on much talked about recession he said that there are two main reasons which led to the recession- firstly, greed on the part of established institutions and secondly, neglect on the part of regulatory authorities as a result of which corporate religion lost its sanctity and gradually, the entire world economy reeled under the heat of recession. Doling out ways to tide over such trying times, Mr. Sharma said that corporate should follow certain ethos, ethics and transparency in all practices, a philosophy which is the base of all the practices followed at ONGC.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rajiv Kumar- CEO, Indian Council for Research and International Economic Relations, New Delhi said that though at the outset, recession seems scary but it certainly has a lot of hidden opportunities- opportunities to learn and grow. Ups and downs are necessary for every economy, they test the strength of an economy. He ensured that Indian economy would not suffer that much and would soon be on recovery track. He doled out several suggestions to Policy Makers, Corporate and Individuals in order to speed up the recovery process. He implored the policy makers to ensure that benefits of globalization are spread evenly and distribution of public goods and services is improved.
