Prof. Madan Lal delivers lecture on Moon Impact Probe: Chandrayaan - I Mission at Amity University

Prof. Madan Lal, Former Dy. Director Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre delivered lecture on the topic “Moon Impact Probe: Chandrayaan - I Mission” at Amity University Campus Sector-125 Noida. This was the 116th lecture under the Amity International Centre (AIC) Lecture Series.

In his lecture Prof. Madan Lal rewind the history of space missions held by ISRO. He discussed the progress path of Indian Space Mission from the launch of first Indian Sattelite Aryabhatt till PSLV missions. Chandrayan -I launch has shown the the world that Indian Space Mission is not very far off from the US or Russia. The next step is to send our manned space shuttle to moon which will be followed by unmanned space craft to Sun, echoed Dr. lal.

Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President, Ritnand Balved Education Foundation said that he is greatful to Prof. Madan Lal for presenting lecture on such an important topic. Dr. Chauhan said that Space Scientists always have a dream to send manned space crafts to space. After the launch of Chandrayan - I, this dream will definitely change into reality very soon.

Senior officials of Amity University and Ritnand Balved Education Foundaton were present during the lecture session.
