The Merchant of Venice, Retold

Rangayan, an entirely student-run drama and theatre club, in association with the ASCENT presented a stage play based on William Shakespeare’s “The Merchant of Venice” in the Auditorium on October 24.

Rangayan, an initiative for dramatics under ASCENT, portrayed the universal characteristics of humanity via the iconic characters from the timeless classical play. The play was directed by Akhil Dayal, who also played the role of Shylock.
