Amity Law School, Centre - II organized a Symposium on “FundamentalDuties: The Duties towards Nation” to make the budding lawyers informed and responsible citizens of the country

V. Shekhar, Vice President , SupremeCourt Bar Association; Mr. Jetendra Singh, Advocate, SupremeCourt; Ms. Anjula Srivasatava and Mr. B. Shekhar, Senior Advocate andChairperson, Supreme Court Bar Association

The discussions and deliberations during the Symposium focused on “ Dutyto self, family, society and nation”; “Implementation of duties”,“Enforceability of duties” and “Save Ganga “

The talks enlightened thestudents about the different dimensions of Fundamental Duties as enshrined inour Constitution.

The students were encouraged tohave clear goal in their life and work towards it slowly and steadily. Theywere motivated to hone their communication skills along with technical skillsand were also advised to not just make fortunes but also work for the less fortunate in theirlives.

Amity University Madhya Pradesh Sponsors the

All India Ranking Tennis Tournament 2015

For the 2^nd year in a row Amity University Madhya Pradesh was the title sponsor of All India Ranking Tennis Tournament, organized by Gwalior Chambal Tennis Association from April 5^th to April 10^th 2015 at the Tennis Complex, City Center, Gwalior.

The Tournament was inaugurated on 5^th April at 6.00 PM. The Chief Guest of the event was Mr. Akhil Kumar, a boxer of international repute and an Arjun Awardee. The event was also attended by the Guest of Honour District Collector Mr. P. Narhari, Vice Chancellor AUMP
Lt. Gen. V K Sharma, AVSM (Retd) and other dignitaries. Tennis players from all parts of the country enthusiastically participated in this tournament. After 5 days of healthy competition, the tournament came to an end on 10^th April. The grand closing ceremony was attended by Mr. Aseem Chauhan, Chancellor, Amity University Rajasthan and Adl. President, RBEF as a guest of honour, Dr. Sunil Saran, Chancellor AUMP, Lt. Gen. V.K. Sharma, AVSM (Retd) Vice Chancellor,  AUMP and other dignitaries. Mr. P. Narhari Collector, Gwalior was the Chief Guest on the occasion.

The ceremony included distribution of prizes to the winners and presenting of mementoes to the guests.
