The first DGR sponsored Training Programme in “Management of Academic Institutions for Officers” by Amity Institute of Education and Training (AIET) for the year 2015-16 started on 15 Apr 2015 at Amity Campus, Sector-125, Noida
Over 31 Senior Officers from Army, Navy and Air Force including two Major Generals & two Air Commodores are attending the programme.
The Inaugural Ceremony of the Training Programme was graced by Maj Gen K J Singh, Group Vice Chancellor, Amity Universities, Lt Gen BK Boppana,Director General, Amity Indian Military Society, Dr Ranjana Bhatia, Mentor,Amity Institute of Education and Maj Gen S Bindra , Senior Director AIET amongst others.
At the outset, participants were welcomed on behalf of Dr Ashok K Chauhan, Founder President, Amity Group.
Lt Gen BK Boppana, Director General, AIMS apprised audience about the uniqueness of the Amity Education Group in imparting Military Training and ethos to the students of all the Amity Universities and Schools, thereby,motivating them to join the Forces and preparing them for Nation Building.
Maj Gen KJ Singh, Group Vice Chancellor, Amity Universities exhorted them to utilize this golden opportunity and go beyond routine learning by taking maximum benefit of rich resources of the University . He also expressed his desire to interact with the Officers during the course to know the progress and to further guide them to achieve their mission in life.
