Army Day celebration on Amity University Patna.

Army Day is celebrated on 15 January every year in India, in recognition of Field Marshal Kodandera M. Cariappa's (then a Lieutenant General) taking over as the first Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Army from General Sir Francis Butcher, the last British Commander-in-Chief of India, on 15 January 1949. On this day Amity University Patna students met with Col.Hemant Parmar and Lt.Col Sandeep Kumar and thanked the ARMY for their continuous and endless effort. Students SALUTE to our Indian Army as a gesture of respect not today but every day.

A delegation from University of Southern Denmark/ Odense Technical College, Denmark visited Amity University on October 22, 2007. The delegation comprised of four members – Mr. Henrik Hjorth, Mr. Jesper Rasmussen, Mr. Niels Henning Olsen and Mr. Rajnish Singh.

The delegation broached the possibilities of potential collaboration between the two universities with the special focus on student and faculty exchange.
