Amity School of Fashion Technology organized a Fashion Presentation “Ignition” at Amity Campus, Sector-125 Noida. It was an endeavor of third year students of Amity School of Fashion Technology who had designed, fabricated and created the entire ensemble. The event provided a platform to the creative and innovative efforts of the students.
The fashion presentation had three themes- “Eclectic Styling”, “Salad Days” and “Thread to Fabric” which were presented by the students who sashayed on the ramp wearing motley of fabrics and designs. The presentation was a perfect riot of colors and hues.
Inaugurating the Fashion Presentation, Mr. Aseem Chauhan- Additional President, RBEF lauded the creations of budding designers and remarked that they have lot of potential and if guided well they can become a big name in the fashion industry. He called the students of Fashion Technology the “most creative ones” as they visualize an idea or concept which later on with their imagination, talent and creativity takes a concrete shape.
During the event, an exhibition displaying the masterpieces designed by the students was also put up. Some of the masterpieces were bought by cognoscenti present at the grand show.
Amity School of Fashion Technology started in September 2004 as a part of Amity University. Presently, Institute is running an undergraduate program in Fashion Design & Technology .The course curriculum is creatively and professionally designed to lay a strong foundation for students, and enable them to pursue a career in fashion designing. In coming years, Institute is planning to launch Diploma Courses in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising and Textile Designing.
