Amity School of Engineering and Technology bagged the second prize at SAE Annual Review Conference. On the 11th of November, 2008 SAE India organized an evening with the international presidential team to review the recent happenings in every collegiate club of SAE. Every college across North India was required to present the recent happenings in their respective collegiate clubs.

Amity School of Engineering and Technology bagged the second prize for the best collegiate club presentation. This award was presented on the basis of the recent happenings (projects, events, literature, awards) in the club and the presentation given. The award included a certificate and a cash prize of Rs. 2,000/- and was presented by eminent personalities like:

- Dr Tony Rand, President, SAE INTERNATIONAL
- Dr David Schutt. Vice President, SAE INTERNATIONAL
- Dr K Kumar, President, SAE INDIA Foundation
- Dr R K Malhotra, Chairman, SAE Northern India
- Mr A D Sindhwani, Secretary, SAE Foundation

The first prize was bagged by Delhi College of Engineering. Other participating colleges included IIT, Delhi, IIT, Rorkee, Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology, Delhi, Indra Gandhi Institute of Technology, Delhi, ITM, Gurgaon and a few more colleges from Ludhiana, Dehradun and Jalandhar
