Four Students of Amity Institute of Biotechnology won first prize in Biotech Brainstorm Contest for submitting abstract titled "Utilization of Bio-illumination in Street Lights" organised by Usha Biotech Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad on September 20, 2009.

Sahana Shankar, Rohil Agrawal, Shreya Dwivedi and Anshit Sood won prize money of Rs 20,000/- and the ranking certificate.
