Amity University Mumbai Participated In National Design Contests

Students of Amity School of Fashion Design & Technology participated in two national-level design contests and won creditable accolades. Pearl Academy- Mumbai conducted “Pearl Paradigm 2019” from 23rd -25th September. 

On 23rd September two teams of students from Amity school of Fashion Design and Technology participated in the poster competition. Amongst the many participants Mohammad Saif Ali and Anushka Rawat (Sem VII) won second prize and a prize worth 3,000/- and Ankita Aggarwal and Mansi Lohar Nitin from (Sem V) got a special mention for their design concept.

On 25th September the design competition “TRASH TO TREASURE”- to create a product from recyclable items. Two teams from semester V participated; Rutuja Konde and Divya karan of won 2nd prize and  Lavanya Murali and Remya E.K won consolation prize. The task was to prepare articles using any waste materials. Both the teams created eco-friendly sustainable re-usable articles out of paper and domestic textile waste.
