MS. SMRITI BHATIA
Founder, Smriti’s ChocoHouse and SIABAZ
MCA, Class of 2005, AIIT, Noida
Describe your career journey and your current role.
Started my journey as part of Amity’s Final Year student being selected by Sapient in a walk-in interview.
Got the biggest permission ever to go ahead and join during the last year. Being part of IT was my deep
wish and being there with the topmost MNC was coming true. Experimented with all roles possible from
development to testing to Program Management. Only one role was left which was creative designing and
that’s been accomplished in my current entrepreneur journey. Down the lane, I realized that I have a
calling to pick one of my passions as my work and there came the switch to launch my own product with
a difference. Then Smriti’s ChocoHouse and SIABAZ was launched with the mission to create innovative
chocolates via designs, themes, and all the love. With God’s grace, we have 500 flavors including a
Fusion of diverse ingredients. We wanted to stand out with differentiation and came up with vegan,
gluten-free, sugar-free, and much more with customer inputs.
We conduct sessions/ talks with many schools/colleges and corporates on entrepreneurship. We also hold
chocolate fun activities with learning how to create them for schools/colleges and corporates with many
events. Certified scholar book of world records for the international author, TEDx Speaker, Mentor of
Change Niti Ayog, and adding more to the journey is in the works. We love to participate via being the
jury for events and spread the bliss around. Media has been kind to interview us across platforms and
shows.

Describe your AMITY journey. What made you choose the University, and how did it fulfill your
learning aspirations?
Amity is a very well-known big brand. Being the first batch of MCA, we had our set of learnings and
joys. We all grew together with fellow students and faculty. The focus on discipline and communication
holds the key to where you go. We had all the best inputs from our teachers as our mentors guided us on
personality with mock-ups, technical emphasis with practice, languages, and fun. All this contributed a lot
to my corporate journey with confidence. This also added to the entrepreneur journey, I am now into
where management skills learned are put to correct use.
We are still in touch with our fellow students and faculty after decades and that speaks volumes in its own
way.
A message or a success mantra that you would like to give to your current Amitians.
Believe in yourself, think positive and apply the positivity, let no doubts bother you, and if they do hold
on to your mentors. Faith in the universe and the divine will take you a long way ahead. No one’s life is
smooth but just keep going and listen to your inner voice. Constant efforts will hit the right chord soon.
Just Do it.
